Renovation of a municipal facility in Guildhall, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of designing and installing mechanical ventilation system in each of the county court houses listed on the cover sheet of this RFP. The system should follow best practices for design and installation per ASHREA standards. Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Vermont Judiciary (hereinafter the State) is seeking to establish a contract with a Contractor to provide Design Build services for the complete installation of the ventilation system upgrades at the Grand Isle, Franklin, Orleans, and Essex County Court Houses. The Windham County Court House may or may not be part of this contract depending on the selected bidders desire to perform work in the southern part of the State. Windham County Court House may be a separate contract and should be bid as a standalone proposal. Design and installation of the ventilation upgrades to follow the design guidelines as shown on the plans for each County prepared by Engineering Services of Vermont. The Contractor will need to complete the design of each system and provide Stamped Engineered Drawings by a Licensed Vermont HVAC Engineer.
