Renovation of a detention facility in Newport, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The project is to replace the DDC control system that was originally installed in 1991, and subsequent years as new space was added. The project will take place almost exclusively in the mechanical spaces which are not subject to inmate access, however there will be some items, such as room thermostats, that need to be replaced that are in inmate accessible space. The construction work is expected to commence in April 2022.
