The City of Newport (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Water System Improvements, Contract No.1 - Palin Hill Reservoir Refurbishment. Bidders are highly encouraged to submit their bids earlier than the listed deadline to prevent issues with the submission process. Bidders are required to reach out to confirm receipt once a bid has been submitted. A bid tabulation will be released to all bidders within 5 business days. The Project includes the following Work: Provision and installation of a new 45-mil CSPE floating cover for an existing 1.1-million-gallon potable water storage reservoir and provision and installation of accessories including a floating sump pump station, floating access hatch assembly, and vent. Under Additional Bid Alternative No. 1, provision and installation of a new 36-mil liner for the 1.1-million-gallon potable water storage reservoir. Alternatively, electronic only copies in portable document format (PDF) of the Bidding Documents are available for a non-refundable charge of $75, plus shipping.
