A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Saraland Board of Education in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. 1. Remove the existing skylight panels, ridge vents, plumbing pipe boots, eave and rake trim. 2. Replace the skylight panels with new R-Panels. Close ridge vent openings and bridge the internal gutter with sheet metal so as to provide a suitable deck system as required to install a single ply roof system. 3. Install 2x6 perimeters as required for attachment of the roof membrane and associated eave and rake trim. 4. Install R-Panel flute filler and cover board insulation attached through the roof and into the support purlins. 5. Install a water diverting cricket on the warehouse roof section, eliminating the internal gutter. 6. Install 60 mill TPO single ply membrane roof system to include custom fabricated eave and rake trim.
