Site work and paving for a civil project in Dover, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.
The Work consists of replacing water and sanitary sewer mains in the Andover residential subdivision (Township streets). The Base Bid Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and appurtenances for the replacement in a portion of the subdivision of approximately: 4,750 LF of 6" water main with 8" and 6" DIP water main; and 4,500 LF of 8" sanitary sewer with 8" PVC sewer main. The OWNER will receive Alternate Bids for the replacement of approximately an additional 3,800 LF of water main and 3,600 LF of sanitary sewer in the rest of the subdivision. Replacing water services and sewer laterals, replacing hydrants and manholes, and trench repaving are included. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Alternate Bid. The successful bidder shall substantially complete the project by August 31, 2022 or December 31, 2022, for the Base Bid or Alternate Bid, respectively, based on receiving a Notice to Proceed with a starting date of no later than January 12, 2022. The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof.
