As of July 2023, this project will start in January of 2024. Summary of Work. OSU is seeking proposals from general contractors to act as Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the Construction of the new 150,000 Gross Square Foot Collaborative Innovation Complex (CIC). The CIC is envisioned as a two-building complex on the Weniger site and surrounding areas in the heart of the OSU Campus. Weniger Hall is a 211,000 GSF multi-disciplinary science research and teaching building built in 1960 with systems and structure that can no longer be economically renovated or improved. The Demolition of Weniger Hall as well as improvements to utilities, streets, walks, parking, landscape, hardscape and other features will be within the scope of this contract.
