The project was awarded to Interstate Mechanical contractors. The total project cost $526,800. Date of commencement is the date of the contract which was January 26, 2022. Roane County is inviting sealed bids for HVAC Modifications to Roane County Sheriffs Office and Detention Center subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Invitation to Bid, the bid specifications and the Roane County Purchasing Manual. This project is being funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976, as currently amended if bid price exceeds $25,000. If bidding over $25,000 a 5% bid bond is required.
