Renovation of an educational facility in Lynchburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Individual contractors may request drawings by emailing Karen Patterson directly. The Boonsboro Elementary School HVAC System Replacement project generally consists of the demolition and replacement of the existing HVAC systems for the building(s). The project also includes limited electrical upgrades as necessary to accommodate the new mechanical equipment. The mechanical upgrades include the replacement of approximately 45 Fan Coil Units, 7 rooftop AC units, a new fuel oil heating water boiler and heating water pumps, a new air cooled chiller and chilled water pump, 2 new exhaust fans, and a new BAS system. Questions should be submitted in writing to Scott Francis, PE, via regular mail, email (sfrancis@wileywilson.com) or fax (434-947-1647) to be answered by addendum as appropriate. The deadline for submitting questions is Friday, November 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid. Bidders must be licensed as contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code of Virginia as amended; and meet requirements of Title 2.2, Chapter 43, Paragraph 2.2-4311, Employment Discrimination Prohibitions and Paragraph 2.2-4312, Drug Free Workplace.
