Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lynchburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes the installation of approximately 5,600 LF of primarily 8" water main and appurtenances and approximately 300 LF of 6" water main and appurtenances; rehabilitation of approximately 5,300 LF of 8", 10", and 12" sanitary sewer and 21 manholes; replacement of approximately 690 LF of existing 8" and 10" sanitary sewer and 12 manholes with new sanitary sewer and manholes; rehabilitation of approximately 2,100 LF of storm sewer; replacement of approximately 1,600 LF of storm sewer with new storm sewer; construction of 1 regenerative stormwater outfall, installation of approximately 2,100 LF of new sidewalk, and 16,000 SY of pavement overlay with associated asphalt patch work. All work is within the Blue Ridge Farms subdivision, City right-of-way, and City obtained construction easements as outlined in the design drawings. All posted clarifications or addenda must be acknowledged on the Bid Form or by physically printing each related addendum, completing them, and returning them with your bid package. Failure to acknowledge the addenda may deem the bid non-responsive. All addenda associated with this project will be posted no later than 3:00 p.m. on December 15, 2021. A Procurement Office staff member will physically respond to the main entrance to receive the bids and time stamp them at that time. It is the sole responsibility for the Bidder to ensure their bid is time stamped prior to the deadline for submission. Please allow additional time to ensure this is done.
