This is a requirements contract to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment as necessary to provide periodic third party witness services and inspection services for various types of elevators, dumbwaiters, mechanical lifts, related machinery, shafts, and other devices henceforth stated as devices as directed by New York City Department of Correction (DOC). The Contractor shall submit all reports and documentation as required to comply with New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) requirements. Actual testing services shall be performed by a contractor hired under a separate elevator maintenance and repair contract. This competitive sealed bid (RFx) is being released through PASSPort, New York Citys online procurement portal. Responses to this RFx should be submitted via PASSPort.
