Site work for a water / sewer project in York, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves the installation of approximately 3,800 feet of water main, valves, hydrants, and water services to replace aged mains, as well as the installation of approximately 17,000 feet of new water main, valves, hydrants, and water services. The project also includes boring the Genesee & Wyoming Railroad Tracks in 2 locations and boring River Road in 2 locations. Sealed bids are requested for Contract #1: General. The project has an expected duration of 120 days to final payment. The Town of York reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, or make an award to other than the low bidder. It also reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Bidders' attention is directed to the requirements regarding conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders included in the bidding documents.
