Dock Improvements (Docks B, C, F and G) FEMA Alternate Project DR-4332-TX (PA ID No. 321-UPU2Q-00) in Palacios, Matagorda County, Texas. The project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 1,200 linear feet of timber dock at the Port of Palacios in Matagorda County, Texas. Bidders must submit a bid bond, cashier's or certified check payable without recourse to the order of the Matagorda County Navigation District No. 1, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bonds and guarantee in the forms provided within fifteen (15) days after Notice of Award of contract to him. Bids submitted without the required security will not be considered. The successful Bidder will be required to purchase and furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas, as required by Article 5160, V.A.T.C.S., as amended by H.B. 344, passed by the 56th Legislature, Regular Session, 1959. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding all local conditions.
