Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bradshaw, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work of the Project includes exterior door and window replacement at Fall River Elementary. Interior renovation of existing restrooms at Mount View High School includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, new gypsum ceilings, new floor finishes, wall tile, RFP paneling, painting, new plumbing, fixtures, accessories, lighting and associated mechanical and electrical work. The Work will be substantially completed within 60 consecutive calendar days from Notice to Commence. Final Completion shall be 30 days thereafter. Liquidated damages shall be $750.00 per calendar day. A Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of Bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the McDowell County Board of Education, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base Bid. Bidders must hold a current West Virginia contractor's license on the date of Bid Opening Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders. McDowell County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.
