**As of December 22, 2021, this project has been awarded to Consolidated Communications in the amount of $47,882.50. For the replacement of the existing Video Surveillance System at the Train Depot at 1718 Broadway Avenue The proposals shall include all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work. There are 18 proposed cameras, wiring, point-to-point communications, PoL switch, computer server, and software. There are 20 existing cameras to be removed. It is the intent of these specifications to describe a fully functional Video Surveillance System including; cameras, wiring, point-to-point communications, power over ethernet (PoE) switch, computer server, and software. The work also includes removal of existing cameras and patching of the existing walls and ceilings. The end point of the work in this contract shall be the existing PC Workstation in the mezzanine level of the Depot. The Vendor shall connect the proposed surveillance system and server to the existing PC Workstation. The primary purpose of the Video Surveillance System is the identification and prosecution of vandals. Facial recognition is mandatory. Infra-red capability is required where specified. Vendors shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to construct a fully functional video surveillance system conforming the specifications in this RFP. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 I ICS i 30/1-12) and all Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. Certified payrolls are required weekly.
