The City of Del Mar seeks a bid from qualified contractor for construction of the Tewa Court Conversion The WORK generally consists of trenching, conduit installation, handhole installation, trench backfill, trench resurfacing, equipment pad grading, wall back cut, retaining wall installation and backfill, equipment pad installation, and landscape restoration related to the undergrounding of overhead utilities from 407 10th street easterly along 10th street and Tewa Court to 1019 Klish Way. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to Bridget Black, KCM Group, Senior Project Manager, for the project listed. It shall be understood, however that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone. Questions shall be in writing and must be delivered at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids by email to bblack@kcmgroup.net. All WORK performed under this contract shall be completed within 45 Calendar Days, as specified in the Contract. Bid Security shall accompany the bid in the form of a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond made payable to the OWNER in the amount of ten percent of the total bid amount. : For contracts above $25,000, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond made payable to the OWNER in the amount of one hundred percent, and a Performance Bond made payable to the OWNER in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract amount.
