Site work for a civil project in Lower Mt Bethel Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of January 27, 2023, a general contractor was not awarded and the township decided to handle construction themselves. Construction has been completed, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The project consists of the removal of existing ground, deck, trees, etc. and construction of boulder walls, geotextile fabric, backfill, drainage piping, and all other associated work listed herein, and as indicated on the plans. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Lower Mount Bethel Township; or a Bid Bond in favor of Lower Mount Bethel Township, in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are advised Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates, promulgated by the U.S. Government (through SAM.gov), must be paid to workmen employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. Lower Mount Bethel Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 12/2/2021 4:00 PM The time for completion of the work under this Contract shall be FORTY-FIVE (45) calendar days after formal Notice-to-Proceed from the ENGINEER
