Manhole Rehabilitation, Materials, Equipment and Supplies, Water Transmission Pipelines, Waterlines, Water Resources Infrastructure, Water Resources Infrastructure, Equip Repair, Fittings and Valves, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Excavation, Landscaping - Seeding, Erosion Control - Temporary Description: The project includes the installation of an 8-inch diameter water main from 1st Street east to 12th Street along State Street (Hwy 44), the intersection of 10th Street and Main Street, the intersection of Prairie Street and 5th Street (Hwy 25) and a half-block south of State Street (Hwy 44) on 3rd Street. Work includes approximately 3,402 LF of 8-inch diameter water main constructed by open-trenched and trenchless methods, approximately 511 LF of 6-inch diameter water main constructed by open-trenched and trenchless methods, and approximately 54 LF of 4-inch diameter water main constructed by open-trenched methods, and related work including water main connections, water main abandonments, valves, insertion valve, hydrants, pressure reducing valve, water services, erosion control, surface restoration, and miscellaneous associated work as specified and indicated on the drawings. The kinds of materials, estimated quantities, and work to be done for the project on which bids will be received are as shown on the bid form for said project. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project.
