Renovation of a mixed-use development in Guthrie Center, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; warehouse / distribution facility; and water / sewer project.

This project includes the demolition of electrical equipment at the conservation education center at Springbrook State Park. It also includes the installation of conduit and feeders to reconnect wastewater lagoons and a storage building to a new electric service provided by the Guthrie County Regional Electric Cooperative. The education center consists of 5 buildings and will be completely demolished in the future. Proposal Guarantee: $12,500.00 Completion Date: 04/24/2026 Each bidder shall accompany the bid with a bid security as defined in Iowa code section 26.8. Copies of the bid security will be accepted for those bidders submitting bids electronically. Additionally, if the apparent lowest responsible, responsive bidder submits an electronic bid security, the original security must be mailed to the Department, at 6200 Park Avenue, Suite 200, Des Moines, IA, 50321, within five business days of the bid letting date. The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
