In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: Unclassified Excavation (Base Bid: 4,107 CY/Alt Bid: 750 CY); 6" Concrete Pavement (Base Bid: 5,846 SY/Alt Bid: 1,348 SY); 8" Crushed Aggregate Base (Base Bid: 5,925 SY/Alt Bid: 1,366 SY), 9" Cement Treated Subgrade (Base Bid: 6,003 SY/Alt Bid: 1,385 SY), Electrical, Painting; Seeding, Erosion Control This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 2.11% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner's award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR 26.53. This item shall consist of preparation of existing pavement surfaces for overlay, surface treatments, removal of existing pavement, and other miscellaneous items. The work shall be accomplished in accordance with these specifications and the applicable plans.
