Description

Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Lillooet, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 594-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

BC Parks is seeking a contractor for design and build services for the construction of a staff cabin to be located at Spruce Lake within South Chilcotin Mountains Park. This Park is in mountainous backcountry terrain approximately 80 kilometres west of the town of Lillooet, 100 kilometres southwest of Williams Lake and 180 kilometres north of Vancouver. It is the intention of the Province to enter into a contract with the successful proponent for the design and construction of a prefabricated cabin structure that would be transported to the staging area, flown to the site by helicopter, and assembled in summer 2022. This Request for Proposals is for the following services: Design of the cabin; Pre-fabrication of the cabin structure; Site preparation and installation of the foundation; Transport of the pre-fabricated structure and all other building materials to the staging area; Crew services to coordinate transporting of all materials by helicopter from the staging area to the building site Assembly of the cabin package to completion.
