Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Lillooet, British Columbia. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Agua Consulting Inc. completed the District of Lillooet Source Water Strategy Report that reviewed nine options of alternative Water Sources that could be developed to increase capacity, improve redundancy, and reduce demand on the District's Water Treatment Plant. This report was presented to Council, and two options were identified as the preferred options for consideration. These options are as follows: 1. Town Creek, which is a surface water source and was used as a source of water until the construction and commissioning of the Water Treatment Plant, and 2. Two additional infiltration wells at the Water Treatment Plant to supplement the two existing wells that are currently in place. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing. Tender and construction timelines are undetermined. Further update may be available in summer 2026, upon budget approvals.
