Renovation of a fire / police facility in Lillooet, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Please carry out the removal of the existing 2- Ply roof system and flashing as highlighted below. Demolish and dispose of existing roof assembly back to existing ¾ Ply base, clean and prepare deck to receive the new roofing system. Install new roof assembly as show in a (Typical roof assembly) notes below. New self-adhesive vapor barrier Membrane.( Sopravap R or equivalent ) 2 Layers of Rigid Polyisocyanurate insulation (132mm Total) / mechanically attached. Tapered Polyisocyanurate insulation. 4.8mm Touchable Overlay Board. / mechanically attached ( Sopraboad or equivalent ) 1 – Ply Granulated SBS Modified Bitumen membrane Cap sheet on 1 – Ply SBS Modified Bitumen base sheet. (Soprema Flam 180 roofing system or equivalent ) / Torch applied. Allow to remove & replace all existing metal flashing and cap assembly running along the perimeter curb of the roof. Build up curb (wood blocking) as required to achieve minimum height above finished roof, install metal cap flashing allowing for 10% slope. Allow to remove and install new Zurn or equivalent Roof Drains No (2) and replace existing 3” cast iron downspouts and replace with 4” HDPE. New flashing – Cap details to match existing profile as possible and Colour to the adjacent training building.
