Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of rehabilitating the existing submersible duplex lift stations at 4211 Pocket Road & 239 Pfeiffer Road, including removal and replacement of lift station pumps, control panels, valves, pressure gauges, guide bars, float switches, lift cables, trash strainer basket, disconnect switches, power & alarm cables, and discharge pipe, together with new fencing, restoration of all disturbed surfaces, and all other incidental work required to complete the project. The federal prevailing wage rate (Davis Bacon Act) shall be paid. Bidders are required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 as amended. Awarded contract will be federally funded in part with a grant by HUD. Not less than (15%) of the total contract amount must be expended with a Minority Business Enterprise. Contact the St. Clair County IGD, (618.825.3211) for questions on MBE participation. An IDOT Certificate of Eligibility is required.
