Renovation of an educational facility in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility.

The boys' & girls' physical education locker rooms are being relocated to the east side of the Gym. Men's athletic locker rooms are being relocated to the west side of the Gym and women's athletic locker rooms are being relocated adjacent to the west side of the Gym floor. Locker Rooms' alterations consist of new performance flooring. Open face wooden lockers / metal halfheight lockers (PE), new shower stalls, new lighting, new toilet partitions & accessories, The Work shall be conducted in two phases, with each phase substantially complete as indicated. Phase-1: Construct New Men's Athletic Locker Room, 2nd Floor Weight Room / Coaches' Office improvements and exterior improvements. Work of this phase shall commence within ten days after the Notice to Proceed and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy by May 27, 2022. Phase-2: Construct New Women's Athletic Locker Room, New PE Locker Rooms, New Mezzanine Conference Room, convert Mezzanine Restrooms to Storage and Gym air conditioning. Work of this phase shall commence after the last day of school for Spring Semester 2022, but no later than May 30, 2022. This work shall be substantially complete and ready for occupancy by August 12, 2022. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be either certified check, cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. Simultaneously, with delivery of the executed contract, the successful bidder, at its own expense, shall furnish surety in the form of a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner.
