Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Tiffin, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,715-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; 15,090-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.
Terracon Project No. 06205056.01 Description: The proposed project consists of a new approximately 16,805 SF Public Works Building for the City of Tiffin. The building includes seven vehicle storage bays, a wash bay, and locker room with storage mezzanine above in the one-story area of the building. This area of the building is a pre-engineered wood building of approximately 15,090 SF. There is also a two-story office area with offices and breakroom that is 1,715 SF that is conventionally wood framed. The building is located 5 feet from the property line that is adjacent to an Iowa Interstate Railroad rail line. Work can use the railroad right-of-way during construction and must be returned to pre-construction conditions at project completion. The Owner's current public works building is located on the property and will remain open and operational during construction.
