The Scope of work includes the removal of existing shingles on specified roofs then the replacement of the shingles with 50 year architectural shingles. This project will take place in spring/summer 2022. Bids to be awarded at the December 15th, 2021 Parks & Recreation Board meeting. Contractor to provide labor and materials to re-roof facilities as listed per the below
specifications and requirements.
1. Remove all existing roofing material down to decking and properly dispose of debris.
2. Inspect existing decking for deterioration and replace only if needed and with approval of
parks and recreation representative.
3. Furnish and install full Sharkskin or equivalent synthetic underlayment roofing paper on
entire roof deck per manufacturer's specifications.
4. Provide and install new 50 YR Asphalt Shingle, Tamko-Vintage-Chestnut -TV50CN per
manufacturer's specifications. Please note that all shingles to be fastened using
manufacturer's recommended fastening pattern for high wind conditions.
5. Provide and install Ice-shield (or equal) membrane per manufacturer's specifications
above all eaves and valleys.
6. Inspect all pipe flashing, roof vents, etc., and replace if needed and with approval of
parks and recreation representative
7. Provide and install all new drip edging.
8. Broom sweep and yard magnet entire site upon completion.
9. Roof sizes are estimates only. Bidders to confirm square footage of each roof.
