Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to November 2022. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Morgantown, WV requests statements of qualifications for professional architectural and engineering services for the design, bidding and construction administration and construction inspection services in connection with the Norwood Fire Station Repair Project. This Project is anticipated to be completed using bond proceeds and is expected to begin construction Summer of 2022. The building is expected to be occupied during construction. There was an addition in 2002. The Norwood Fire Station includes 4 garage bays, a kitchen, a bunk room that sleeps 4, and one restroom that has 3 fixtures, 3 sinks, and a common shower room. The building is all one level. Recent repairs include a new roof.
