Reference Number AB-2021-06537 The purpose of this RFP is to obtain competitive proposals from highly qualified Proposers with expertise in providing preventative maintenance and repair services to TCES's public safety communications systems. Only those Proposers who are actively engaged in the business of radio, two-way radio repair, RoIP, and repair and maintenance of these and related systems will be considered as responsible Proposers. For the purpose of this RFP, actively engaged shall mean companies with an active and current customer list with which similar services are provided. TCES is actively engaging proposers to setup a maintenance contract for its public safety communications equipment. The duration of the maintenance contract is for a period of three (3) years. The equipment to be maintained includes, but is not limited to, a VHF simulcast county wide radio system, linking all of the sites and base stations, radio sites, towers, radios and related equipment. A proposer must be able to maintain all of this equipment as well as being knowledgeable about public safety communications. The Cost Submittal shall be placed in a separate sealed envelope within the sealed proposal, separate from the technical submittal. Proposers should not include any assumptions in their cost submittals. If the proposer includes assumptions in its cost submittal, TCES may reject the proposal. Proposers should direct in writing any questions about whether a cost or other component is included or applies. All Proposers will then have the benefit of TCES's written answer so that all proposals are submitted on the same basis. It is the responsibility of the Proposer to ensure their Proposal is received prior to the listed date and time. Time discrepancies between clocks, watches, cell phones, etc. will not be honored.
