The City of Topeka is requesting proposals to provide design and build landscaping improvements to various sections of the perimeter of the City Hall and TPAC Building located at 215 SE 7th Street in Topeka, KS. Q And A Open11/19/2021 9:01:00 PM Q And A Close12/13/2021 11:30:00 PM The proposed project areas are designated on the aerial photograph located on the last page of these specifications. Each project area is defined and labeled. For all of the tasks above, the following shall be incorporated into submitting proposals and pricing: 1. Recommendations of design development including combination of hardscape elements, grading, and soft-scape plantings. 2. Recommendations for the two replacement trees required. 3. Recommendations for native grasses or flowers. 4. Recommendations for using the existing retaining wall stone or replacing with new once the foundation is installed. 5. Recommendations where sod should be used. 6. Recommendations on regrading areas if needed. 7. Recommendations where mulch should be used. 8. Recommendations on the existing irrigation system and installing additional where needed. 9. One review meeting with the City to determine final plan approval. Note: Final design must meet the approval of City of Topeka Facilities Operations.
