Renovation of a fire / police facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Work to be completed under this project consists of renovations to the building interior which will be completed in two (2) phases. Reference Drawing A0.1. The main areas to be renovated include offices, washrooms, showers, kitchen and operational areas. The scope of the Work includes new flooring, paint, cabinetry, lighting, mechanical and electrical upgrades. Other major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Asbestos Abatement in the Apparatus Room. (b) Supply of a Temporary Crew Trailer on site. See Appendix A The following shall also apply to the Work: (a) City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy: New City-Owned Buildings and major additions (b) Universal Design Policy Official bid documents must be obtained from Merx and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
