FCC Allenwood is a federal correctional complex located on Route 15, 2 miles north of Allenwood, PA 17810. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work. The project includes the renovation of housing Unit 1B including interior renovations and site improvements. Interior renovations include renovations of cells, conversion of cells to other uses, and interior recreation areas, as well as renovations in the lower shower area. Site improvements include a new exterior recreation area with detention enclosures as well as ramps and controlled access to the exterior area. Work includes demolition, architectural, concrete, electrical, mechanical, electrical and IT, plumbing and fire protection, finishes, earthwork and site utilities, and associated work more fully described in the specifications and drawings attached to this notice. The Specifications and Drawings attachments included in this solicitation synopsis are the same restricted access documents that were previously included in the Sources Sought Notice and Pre-solicitation Synopsis. Access to the specifications and drawings attachments will require an active vendor registration at https://sam.gov as well as your Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) associated with your SAM registration. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project lies between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. (NOTE: This range is one of eight available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at https://sam.gov.
