The anticipated work of the Project generally consists of replacing the approximately 4.5 mile connection between the District's Reservoir 1 and Reservoir A Water Treatment Plants. The project is located 10 miles east of the City of Placerville and 1.5 miles southwest of Pollock Pines, California. Only pre-qualified firms will be eligible to bid on the Project. A California Classification A contractor's license is required. The estimated date of construction is June 2024 through October 2025. The District reserves the right to adjust, increase, limit, suspend or rescind the prequalification rating based on subsequently learned information. Contractors whose rating changes sufficient to disqualify them will be notified and given an opportunity for a hearing consistent with the hearing procedures described below for appealing a pre-qualification rating.
