**As of January 5, 2022, project was awarded to Reynolds Asphalt for $135,127.50. The City of Azle is accepting bids for our Street Rehabilitation Program, Bid #22-003.The scope of work is to detail all of the specifications necessary to procure the above listed material or service for the City. Unless expressly excluded, any and all labor and material not included in this document,but which may be needed for the completion of this project are to be furnished by the successful bidder without additional cost to the City of Azle. All questions should be submitted in writing to Michelle Stevens at mstevens@cityofazle.org. No questions will be answered by phone. All questions must be received by: December 7,2021 before 5:00pm. Bid results will not be given by telephone. The successful bidder is required to provide the City of Azle a Performance Bond, a Payment Bond, and a two-year Maintenance Bond each being in a sum equal to the amount of the contract awarded. The form of the bond and the surety shall be acceptable to the City. All proof of Bonds is due after award of the bid and prior to initiating any work for the City. Proposals shall be accompanied with a 5% bid bond of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the City of Azle as a guarantee that the bidder will within 10 days after Notice of Award enter into a contract and furnish any bonds set forth in the bid document.
