Teton County is seeking proposals for the removal and disposal of all HVAC equipment being upgraded and the replacement with new HVAC and BAS systems and controls according to the plans and specifications by Cator Ruma and Associates dated 6/9/25. Questions or comments regarding this Request for Proposal may be posted on the Public Purchase website. Questions asked and answers provided will be visible to all bidders. Bid security shall be required for all construction, major maintenance, or renovation of any public building or other public work or improvement and when the anticipated contract price exceeds $150,000. Bid security shall be a bond provided by a surety company, the equivalent in cash, or another form of financial guarantee satisfactory to Teton County. Bid Security shall be in an amount equal to 5% of the amount of the bid. R. Performance and Payment Bond Requirements: Performance and payment bonds shall be required for all construction, major maintenance, or renovation of any public building or other public work or improvement when the contract price exceeds $150,000.00. The financial guarantee shall be 100% of the contract price. When the contract price is less than $150,000.00, any form of financial guarantee can be accepted, and the Department Director or Elected Official shall determine a reasonable amount for the financial guarantee between 50% and 100% of the contract price County reserves the right to halt any or all construction activity upon observance of any safety violation until such time as said violation is corrected.
