The location and description of the proposed work are as follows: The proposed project is located in Coconino County on SR 89A between mileposts 402.05 and 403.05 and on I-40B between mileposts 195.48 and 195.86. The work consists of removing the existing asphaltic concrete by milling and replacing it with new asphaltic concrete. Additional work includes removing and replacing existing curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway, pavement markings, and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 150 working days The Arizona Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252.42 U.S.C.2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
