The City of Norwalk (City) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants ("Proposers") to provide design, construction management and inspection services, and staff augmentation for RFP No. 22-668, Local Streets Rehabilitation Program - Phase 2, Zone 19, City Project No. 7929. The City of Norwalk is approximately nine square miles and is bounded approximately by the San Gabriel River & Firestone Blvd, Bloomfield Avenue & Florence Ave, Excelsior Drive & Carmenita Road and Alondra Boulevard and San Gabriel River. The entire City is divided in 32 paving zones. See attached map for locations of each zone. The City's Local Streets Rehabilitation Program, Phase 2, Zone 19 will rehabilitate residential roadway pavements and effect associated concrete improvements such as sidewalk, curb-gutter, access ramps to current standards, driveway aprons with minimal impacts to adjacent improvements. All questions, inquiries and clarifications shall be submitted via email to _PurchasingDivision@norwalkca.gov with the subject line "RFP No. 22-668, Local Streets Rehabilitation Program - Phase 2, Zone 19." All questions, inquiries and clarifications must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on December 9, 2021. The City of Norwalk is not responsible for failure to respond to a request that has not been labeled as such. Should it be found that the point in question is not clearly and fully set forth in the RFP, the City of Norwalk will issue a written addendum clarifying the matter(s). The written addendum will be posted to the City's Open Bids and RFPs webpage no later than 5:00 p.m. on December 16, 2021. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
