The proposed Work consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, tools and equipment to complete the project scope as follows: The Village of Holiday City is extending a new overhead 12.47kV distribution circuit to an existing customer of the Village's municipal electric system. This construction will include the installation of new underground conduit, 15kV power cable, regulator bypass switches and bussing, poles, overhead conductor, crossarms, insulators and miscellaneous items of construction. The voltage regulators and primary metering package will be furnished by the Village and installed by the contractor. All other material will be furnished and installed by the contractor. All bids shall be signed and submitted in duplicate on the blanks, which are provided separately with the Specifications. Interested parties must contact the Engineer's Office to be a registered bidder. Only proposals submitted by registered bidders will be accepted. Each bid shall contain the name of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same, and must be accompanied by either a bid guaranty bond to the satisfaction of the Village, or a certified check drawn on a solvent bank, in the sum of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Village of Holiday City, Ohio, as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. In lieu of a bid bond, a certified check, on a solvent bank, made payable to The Village of Holiday City, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid will also be accepted as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance-payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract awarded. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The Village of Holiday City, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
