All questions and substitution requests must be submitted by 12 noon on January 5, 2022. JCPS Board of Education has established goals and good faith effort of 15% participation for Minority Business Enterprises, and 10% for Women Business Enterprises in all construction contracting. JCPS reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Jefferson County Public School System (JCPS) actively and aggressively encourages and promotes the participation of Minority, Women, and Veteran Business Enterprises and promotes the participation of Minority, Women, and Veteran Business (M/W/VBE) as its vendors and construction contractors. It is the Jefferson County Public Schools' goal to have 15% minority and 10% women participation in all construction projects. Veteran participation goals will be established based on best practice.
