MBE (30.7%), WBE (6.9%) The work includes heavy, moderate, and light maintenance activities as described below: Heavy maintenance consists of using machines, such as a mini-excavator, to install earthen water diversion structures. These structures consist of rolling grade dips and knicks (grade dips), used to divert water off existing trails to reduce erosion. The structures are constructed with native soil harvested using borrow pits within the 10 foot-wide trailway. Seeps and other wet areas of the tread will be surfaced with crushed slate or rock armored using the pitched stone method. Some problem locations will be repairedwith a trail realignment, within the exiting trail prism. Two trail reroutes are also required, outside the trail prism. Abandoned trail segments will require obliteration. Wood decking is to be replaced on two small bridges
