A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and made payable to the said Local Housing Authority or a satisfactory bond executed by an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond Form contained in the Specifications and in accordance with the "Instructions to Bidders" set forth herein, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory 100% performance and payment bond or bonds.
