The Del Norte County Building Maintenance Division is seeking bids for a public contract for the Flynn Center Generator Installation Project, located at 981 H Street, Crescent City, CA. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's check or certified check, made payable to the County, or bid bond using the form included in the Contract Documents and executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California. The successful Bidder shall be required to execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for not less than one hundred percent of the construction price, issued by an Admitted Surety, an insurance organization authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance in the State of California during the 2020 calendar year. Any notice, billing, or payment required by or pursuant to the Contract Documents must be made in writing, signed, dated and sent to the other party by personal delivery, U.S. Mail, a reliable overnight delivery service, or by email as a PDF file.
