Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Brattleboro, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of removing existing sidewalk, installation of gravel, concrete sidewalk, and miscellaneous items on a section of South Main Street in Brattleboro. The total length of sidewalk is approximately 1375 feet The Town of Brattleboro reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bids. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 30 days after the date of the opening of bids The Contractor agrees to complete all work within 30 days after the notice to proceed. Project shall be complete by June 30th , 2022. This contract is for the replacement of a section of sidewalk along the northerly side of South Main Street from the intersection of Pine Street to the retaining wall at house #431. Total project length is approximately 1375 feet. Work included in the contract includes: Installation of 2 ROAD WORK AHEAD signs on tripods before work begins each day. Daily installing of FLAGGER AHEAD sign as required, and supplying barrels and barricade as needed to separate traffic from work.
