The Town of Brattleboro requests submittal of qualifications by individuals or firms interested in obtaining a Real Estate Development Option to propose a development and financial plan for the so-called "Harris Lot," a municipal parking lot on Harris Place, and developing said lot into a 4-6 floor mixed-income senior residential housing building with sub-surface parking facilities. The scope of work shall include, but is not limited, to the following: provide a design and financial plan for the development of a 4-6 floor mixed-income senior residential housing building with sub-surface (2 floors) parking facilities in conjunction with the opportunity to purchase the Harris Lot from the Town for a fair market value and with contingencies which would include at a minimum the approval of Representative Town Meeting. The selected developer will have six months from Notice of Award to prepare a detailed proposal for the Town to consider.
