Edifice LLC is the Construction Manager for the City of Gastonia Municipal Operations Center project in Gastonia, NC. Edifice is seeking bids from prequalified subcontractors only. Gastonia Municipal Operations Center is a multi-faceted project in which Edifice will be renovating & upgrading around ~14,000 SF of the existing Municipal Office Center Building with new training rooms, restrooms, and office renovations. Across the street from the facility, we will be constructing a new ~19,999 SF Electrical Building consisting of office space as well as a service bay for vehicles. The final structure will be a ~7,500 SF Open Air Truck Bay. All questions and/or clarifications should be addressed to the Construction Manager, who will then correspond with the Design team, as required, for answers and clarifications Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with each formal bid package in the amount of $300,000 or greater Performance and Payment Bonds will be for the full amount of the contract and will be submitted prior to executing the work.
