The major items to be furnished and installed are: High Service Pump Station (including building, ground storage tank, pressure tank, etc.) 8" PVC Transmission Line (approx. 20,800), Boring & Casing for 8" Carrier Pipe (approx. 475 LF), Boring (No Casing) & 8" HDPE Carrier Pipe (approx. 830 LF), 6" PVC Distribution Line (approx. 13,600 LF), Boring & Casing for 6" Carrier Pipe (approx. 40 LF), Casing (Open-Cut) for 6" Carrier Pipe (approx. 120 LF), Boring (No Casing) & 6" PVC Carrier Pipe (approx. 450 LF), Gate Valves, Manual Air Release Valves, Flushing Valves, Metering/Control Facilities, and other miscellaneous work. Bidders must submit with their bids a Bid Bond in the amount of Five (5%) percent of the maximum amount of bid payable without recourse to the Red River Authority of Texas from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of contract. Bids submitted without a bid bond or cashier's check will not be considered. The successful Bidder must furnish bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Red River Authority of Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of bids, to waive any informalities and technicalities and to accept the Bid most advantageous to the Red River Authority of Texas.
