Site work and renovation of a civil project in Victor, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Base Bid: The project consists principally of the replacement of an existing pump station with a new suction lift pump station, abandonment of the existing wet well and removal of the existing pump station. The project also includes the installation of approximately 20 linear feet of 8-inch force main, 40 linear feet of 18-inch gravity sewers, and other appurtenances. Alternative 1: This portion consist of replacing the existing generator at the pump station. The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the work to be performed under each contract. All bidding questions or Requests for Information must be submitted by 5:00pm on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Refunds for payment of one (1) copy of the Plans and Specifications will be made to those submitting Bids on the forms furnished, if returned in good condition to the Town Clerk within thirty (30) days from the award of the contract. The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work. Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Town of Victor is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on the cost of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Town of Victor reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five (45) days after the receipt before awarding any contract. The Town of Victor further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most favorable to its best interests. Due circumstances related to the COVID-19 virus, only one representative from each bidder will be permitted to attend the Bid Opening & Pre-Bid Meeting. New York State safety protocols related to COVID-19 are to be followed.
