Lansdowne Borough is soliciting bids (for 2022) for the maintenance, repair, and remediation of Borough owned sanitary sewers. The bid includes any Borough owned sanitary sewers throughout Lansdowne Borough. The project is Borough-wide and will be an annual contract wherein the awarded contractor will be responsible for making the required improvements throughout the length of the contract. The contractor shall be in continuous communication with the Borough Staff and Engineer regarding any sudden changes or new requests for maintenance, repair and remediation during the project length. The scope of work includes the maintenance, repair, and remediation of Borough sanitary sewers and associated facilities within the Borough as needed. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of Contractor's obligations under the Contract. These bonds must remain in effect until one year after the date when final payment becomes due or until completion of the correction period specified in Paragraph 15.08, whichever is later, except as provided otherwise by Laws or Regulations, the terms of a prescribed bond form, the Supplementary Conditions, or other provisions of the Contract. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled for this project. A bid bond in the amount of $250.00 of the total bid will be required for the submission.
