Site work for a water / sewer project in Clarendon, Pennsylvania. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of April 7, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. Bidding is anticipated to take place in early 2023, with construction happening later that year. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The County of Warren is requesting proposals from licensed professionals, to assist with the design of the replacement of approximately 850 LF of an existing storm water sewer on a portion of Center Street in Clarendon Borough. The selected professional will create a set of bid specs, provide a construction cost estimate, assist in the bidding process, and provide inspection services during the actual reconstruction of the storm water system. This project will be financed with Federal CDBG funds. A qualified firm will be selected, by the County of Warren and Clarendon Borough Council, from those firms, or individuals, who submit acceptable proposals consisting of the following items: a) Resume of firm and inspector(s); b) Proof of licensure as a Professional able to practice in Pennsylvania; c) Relevant work references; d) Proof that firm is a bona-fide SERB (Socially and Economically Restricted Business), or Minority or Women owned business, if applicable; e) Description of basis of costs for professional design/insp services; f) Statement of understanding; g) Firm's qualifications; h) Contact person; i) Statement of firm's relationship with the County of Warren, and/or the Borough of Clarendon. All proposals will be judged according to a set of specific criteria, which is part of the RFP package. Although costs will be a consideration, primary emphasis will be placed upon the capacity of the firm to provide the services requested; the lowest bidder may not necessarily be selected. At its discretion, Warren County retains the right to reject any or all proposals. Warren County encourages responses from small, minority, and women enterprises. No individual or firm responding to the RFP will be discriminated against because of race, religion, handicap, sex or national origin. All proposals must be received at the Courthouse in a sealed envelope marked clearly Proposal for Design and Inspection Services for Clarendon Storm Water System Project. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
