The Houston County Board of Commissioners (Owner) is seeking a Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified firms interested in providing Construction Management "at Risk" services as the Construction Management "at Risk" firm (CM/GC) for a project known as Project Bid #22-13, Additions & Modifications to Houston County Health Department located at 98 Cohen Walker Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088 (Project). This Project is estimated at $4,000,000. This Request for Proposal, for this solicitation, is asking the marketplace for its best effort in seeking a "best value" solution to our requirements for the above-mentioned services. The proposed project is a renovation and expansion of the existing Health Department located at 98 Cohen Walker Drive, Warner Robins, GA. The existing health department is 13,567 sq. ft. Approximately 3,500 sq. ft. of this existing space will be modified, and the remaining 10,000 sq. ft. will receive finish upgrades. The program requires an expansion of approximately 11,000 sq. ft. Site work will involve additional parking in front of the building and modified parking in the rear. There will be a drive thru at the rear in proximity of the clinical area. The drive thru will be large enough to support 3 lanes of vehicles, and additional navigation space for large trucks to access roll-out storage. The addition will house WIC, Dental Clinic, isolated exam rooms, and nurse administration. The addition will relocate the entrance and visitor lounge to create a separation of areas for well-visit/newborn and ill patients. A large conference/training room is also part of the program. a.
