Renovation of a residential development in Cheviot, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The bidder shall be responsible to check for Addenda and obtain same from the web site. Each bidder is required to furnish with his proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Submitted proposals must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the same and all persons interested therein. When the total overall project equals or exceeds $75,000 all bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County and the City of Cheviot, Ohio, as ascertained and determined by the Administrator of the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services (OBES) as provided in Section 4115.05 through 4115.034 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio. Prevailing Wage Law will apply to this project. All Contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. The Council of the City of Cheviot, Ohio, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
